With the acceleration of the layout of offshore wind power projects and the exploration of the development of Marine resources, China has created a new development model of "green energy + blue granary". On October 31, the world's first floating wind and fish integration project completed all engineering installation at the Nanri Island offshore wind farm in Putian, Fujian Province, and will be put into production to generate electricity.

The project is the world's first far-reaching sea floating wind power and Marine pasture aquaculture integration design project, selected as "China Association for Science and Technology Ten industrial technical problems", was included in Fujian Province science and technology major special project.

The project is located in the national Marine ranch Demonstration Zone of Nanri Island, Putian, Fujian Province, with a water depth of about 35 meters. It adopts a three-column semi-submersible platform, on which a 4MW offshore wind turbine and lightweight flexible photovoltaic modules are installed. In the middle of the platform, a regular hexagon is used as a breeding area to produce clean electricity while breeding fish and seafood, realizing the integration of wind, light and fish.

Compared with the traditional fixed fan in the seabed, the floating fan does not need a large-scale reinforced concrete foundation, but the use of the principle of buoyancy, so that it floats on the water, which makes the floating fan deployment in the deep sea more convenient, it can also adjust the direction and position through the electric cable, can adapt to a variety of wind direction and current environment, to obtain more wind energy. The lifting equipment equipped with the 4MW wind turbine of the project is the intermediate combined tower cylinder elevator, which can provide safe and reliable boarding support for offshore wind power operation and maintenance personnel.
