3S LIFT Tower Climber provides a solution for shaft desilting at a hydropower station in China
In the operation and maintenance of modern hydropower stations, shaft desilting has become an important and complex task. The silt and debris accumulated in the shaft not only affect the normal operation of the hydropower station, but also may bring safety hazards. In order to complete this task efficiently and safely, we introduced the 3S LIFT Tower Climber.
The shaft of a hydropower station is deep and the internal environment is complex. The traditional manual desilting method is not only inefficient, but also has great safety risks. Therefore, we decided to use 3S LIFT Tower Climber for desilting operations.
Before the operation, we conducted a comprehensive inspection of the 3S LIFT Tower Climber to ensure that its functions were normal. Subsequently, the tower climber was installed in the shaft channel and connected to the corresponding power supply and safety devices. During the operation, the operator controlled the lifting and movement of the tower climber to send the desilting equipment to the bottom of the shaft for operation.
The intelligent design and multiple safety protection functions of 3S LIFT Tower Climber played an important role in this dredging operation. Its independent control system and gear rack transmission system ensure the smooth and stable operation of the equipment, and can withstand large loads and impact forces. At the same time, multiple safety protection functions such as dual independent anti-falling system, automatic operation system, power-off self-locking system, overload protection system, etc. provide all-round safety protection for operators.
During the dredging process, the anti-misoperation protection system of 3S LIFT Tower Climber effectively avoids the potential dangers caused by misoperation, and the sound and light prompt function of operation effectively reminds the operators in the channel to ensure the safety of the operation process. In addition, the foldable damping pedal design of the tower climbing machine enables personnel to evacuate quickly in an emergency, further improving the safety of the operation.
After several days of continuous operation, we successfully cleaned up the silt and debris in the shaft. The high efficiency, stability and safety performance of 3S LIFT Tower Climber have been fully verified in this dredging operation.
